Looking for your Soul Tribe? You’ve found them in your trusted furry best friend. My unique husky connection started a a few years ago when I began a new adventure following the loss of a close relationship… I chose to create a conscious relationship with the souls of 2 huskies. My heart was calling me to cultivate a new sense of family, to fulfill that sense of an ‘authentic soul tribe’ connection. So I researched and found two perfect companions that would help co-create my journey onward. These fur babies, I knew, would walk my path with me fearlessly and with JOY, as daily best friends, companions to spark my creativity, and even as spirit guides at times. I imagined they would be like angel souls living a husky life. I trusted that as I dreamed it, the spiritual connection my heart knew was possible between human and canine would help me light the way. And it’s true, my life is forever transformed by the freedom, love, courage, and joy of these pathfinders.

The Siberian Husky as a breed has quite a conscious presence. They are like kids who are ready to build a healthy bond with their family. And they love and need to be included in as much of your lifestyle as fits. That’s why they make excellent coaching companions for our Life Coaching series. They are wired for autonomy and make excellent creative and independent choices when given options, they have a gorgeous voice, and a deeply connected soul with special heart wisdom. It is for this reason that many self aware humans find an easy fit with them. Their unique expression of freedom and autonomy and can be a healing reflection for humans at their higher-self wisdom level as well. For those who are called to the husky spirit, let their pack-loving nature assist you as you step into your authentic and purposeful expression. Open to learning and companionship as you call in your connection. Your heart will know when you are ready for a husky to be a part of your team as you truly live the adventure of your life.

What If…

“The way we see the world shapes the way we treat it. What if…

If animals and other species are biological kin not just resources; or if the

planet is our mother, not just an opportunity

if a mountain is a deity, not just a pile of ore…

if a forest is a sacred grove, not just timber;

then we will treat each other with greater respect and find mutual resourcefulness.

Thus is the challenge, to look at the world from a different perspective.”

What Is It About

Huskies?

The Gift Of An Open Embodied Presence

… Whether we need reminding or not, we’re actually here to be the change. And as we all know: change happens within, first. Even if that’s changing how we see ourselves, to see something or someone differently. And on that note, since we can start with ourself on anything…

At Mahavidya Siberians, we’re changing the game…

A Husky Will Get You Out Of Your Comfort Zone In A Playful Way ~ And That’s Good News

The process we’ll walk through with the huskies is both practical and therapeutic. The practical — like walks by the creek and experienced reflective or introspective guidance— gives you structure for your practice.

The therapeutic part is more free flowing, because time with a husky is relational, playful, kinda like having an ongoing conversation with the universe as we observe the synchronicities and dream up new possibilities or solutions for life’s challenges. It makes things more interesting.

The best part is, being around animals in a conscious way is also simply shamanic and magical — in the sense that they help us remember our deep connection with our own bodies,  basic needs, and togetherness. And when we slow down, aligning mind with body, we allow room for positive changes to magically weave their way into our daily life- the way they did when we were young. We may remember we don’t have to make it happen for it to all still happen.

On a husky walk, when we can get you out of your familiarity or comfort zone, opening up neurons in the everyday quantum field, you get a chance to see things with fresh eyes, to feel alive, to make new choices, and to grow into who you are authentically. Let’s be honest, being with huskies is loving, playful, energetic, curious, creative, wise, silly, intense, soft, uplifting, challenging in a good way, and fun.

You might be wondering “What’s the magic in  this human-husky wisdom blend?” So, to make sense, let’s put it in perspective… a husky’s perspective, that is…

Your Husky Walk Is Really An Inside Job

While we work with huskies, the real work we do is actually primarily for humans.

While we’re not dog trainers, and we won’t work with you in a traditional behavioral way where dogs are focused on responding to commands and humans learn how to manage their behavior, what we WILL do is work with you to help cultivate an open presence within yourself that allows for authentic response… which you can apply in all areas of your life and all relationships, including with your dog.

This cultivates the base momentum for a healthy two-way interaction. As with any relationship it is loosely played among the notes of awareness, behavior, reaction, self-reflection, and change. All of which is wrapped in a current of practical self love with compassion for our flaws and patience with our goals - yours, not just the dogs.

Thus, the husky walk is designed as a lesson in experiential self-activation, observation, and accountability — because being around them is often more neutral, revealing, and loving than being around people. So it’s also a good reset for the nervous system.

The Gift Of Perceiving More Than The Senses

What if your dog’s life is the very breath of aliveness, the conscious presence of sensations and experiences, perceptions galore from an inborn olfactory app that reads like 3D modeling in everyday life-- lighting up a multi-dimensional model of a vibrant electromagnetic and bio-chemical world around them. It’s immersive and experiential. How amazing!

Now what if the gift of this perceptive capability — the ability to enjoy it and explore life from an essentially open and embodied presence — is exactly what we as humans were also given, before we became locked in our mental routines, feeling over time like we’re leading a separate life from our embodiment?

At this level of similarity they are like us when we were young, or surrendered in love: Alive in every way. Loving, open, and kind by nature, with a curious and flexible mind, not a closed or habituated one. In this state, we have an intuitive connection that is alive and attuned to anywhere our attention goes. We can explore and perceive so much beyond the sum of our senses. We can experience oneness with other living things and understand without words.

In this, they remind us of our own freedom to love and be loved, to come back to the present and accept life fully as well as to set healthy rhythms and boundaries. That is a healthy integration of experience. We would like to learn how to express love like that again, to be truly ourselves.

We can practice embodying this uniqueness, and the indwelling sense of self love we feel when when we do, alongside our canine companions. This gives us new options for responding when we notice where in our lives, with our dogs or in other relationships, we try to limit what’s possible, control, own, or project outside ourselves how we think life should be. We have within us the power to be unique, for our authenticity to support helpful changes within and around us. That is the real game changer. And it’s as simple as taking a walk.

At Mahavidya Siberians we dedicate our presence, time, and curiosity to discovering the multi-layered experiences we all have with animals and nature. Especially when it comes to self reflection, mindful growth, sovereignty and balance. We are curious in our interactions, creative with our inquisitiveness, and daring in our try-it-and-see nature. If you’re open to it, we’ll look into astrology, archetype reflection, and self-awareness techniques to help open your intuitive and perspective taking abilities. We’ll lay down what’s ready to unravel and begin to discover what’s refreshing in the now. That’s good husky time!

In all husky activities, we believe that cultivating greater self awareness can help — we suggest practices that can grow a strong and healthy human-canine bond, supporting ease of communication as well as positive patterns that can become a good foundation from which to expand.

During training, most often we are taught to pay attention to exterior behavioral traits. In reality, this ‘doing’ is only half the story. The other half is about tuning in to how you are ‘being’ within you, for example, being aware of your thoughts and emotions, and likewise how you perceive and relate to your husky’s way of being.

Balancing both our inner + outer experience can go far in helping us cultivate healthy relationship with ourself or anyone else. Finding this balance is a discovery process at the core of our training philosophy. We hope our offerings give you positive interpretations and a helpful framework for long term success.

Healthy communication between you and your husky is a necessary two way street which leads to greater enjoyment, reduced stress, and also fewer rescues. Seeing positive reflections in inter-species engagement is a healthy expansion of our own growth. The bottom line is every healthy relationship leads to greater harmony between us and all life. Thank you for joining us!

The life of a husky, or any dog for that matter, is so much more… than what our human ego can expect, imagine, or hope to provide for them. Yet there is an inescapable primal bond of love that accepts our connection and transcends limitation.

Why is it then, we muse, that despite our best intentions or concerted efforts, that most behavioral interaction, even training, happens from a place of deeply habituated or conditioned repetition or reaction? These deep patterns are what make up the layers of our life, that drive our behavior whether we’re conscious of it or not, whether we like it or not. That is what animals and humans, all life in fact, has in common- core cyclic patterns, or Karmas, that have built up momentum over time, sometimes over lifetimes.

Isn’t it interesting, then, when observing the human condition, around us or in our own lives, what we notice….? Where else have we recognized a similar pattern, where have we experienced when habit trumps authentic in-the-moment experience— some might say we see it in ourselves or others when raising children, being around family, in relationship dramas, identifying the true needs of our own ‘inner child’ rather than just our ego. We all naturally avoid the discomfort such unraveling awareness can bring, and seek to self soothe or attempt to set positive momentum in motion through other practices. The balance is ever changing. But change doesn’t only happen outside, regardless of our will…

Husky Super Powers

Huskies especially embody the element of freedom. They cannot be contained, they get out of constrictive environments in order to explore and experience. They talk back, they show preferences, they ask questions, they follow their own path. And they ask you to explore right along with them! They have every right to push back at a dulled down humanity— a collective that often projects unconscious thought or unprocessed emotion onto the dog, and when the dog ‘acts it out’ as a natural energetic response to stimulus in the environment, it is labeled as ‘dramatic’, controlled, or ignored. In fact, huskies are such a good mirror, we can all learn from them, haha.

Huskies can help us with our work-life balance. While we get lost on ‘automatic pilot’ at the computer, or in the daily tasks and to do lists, they are here to dive in and to learn in a multi-sensory way , which is what play is — to take delight, explore, learn, integrate, grow, and be involved! When you walk a husky, and really walk with it with all your senses, it’s like being Albert Einstein and taking a mental break to allow the new perspective to ‘drop into your awareness’. It’s a moving meditation, allowing perception to free flow and find the best way forward, rather than always doing things the same way. It’s refreshing and healing for our culture of over work.

Part of the husky’s perpetual playfulness is a unique blend of heart and free will. They see options and make choices to push boundaries and try new things. The fact that they see options means they’re taking multiple perspectives. That’s very integrated. We can learn from them, especially when we feel resistant or polarized ourselves.

Their authentic canine voice is a rolling melodic talk more than a stuccatto bark. And their howl— often called ‘the song of their breed’— is beautiful and wild.  This natural expression of freedom, choice, and perspective, along with their strong unique voice, are all essential elements of the 5th chakra, the governing energy center of the master gland of the throat area. There are many similar qualities among humans as wells as huskies at this level of basic pranic science.

Like all animals, huskies are truly in their heart making them adept at demonstrating and reflecting genuine relationships and group bonds. You see, no matter what you achieve or don’t in life, you will find yourself with a body and a heart that still seek integration, belonging, and comfort. This is your sacred animal body. And we can learn a lot about self-awareness through compassion for and interaction with animals and nature. For that is a part of our true nature as well.

In fact, engaging in husky companionship— whether taking walks with us, or finding your own forever fur baby, can be the very thing that helps you become the best version of yourself.

Just like humans and all other sentient beings, animals embody and express many layers, from their basic physical blueprint to complex emotions or intuitive awareness. And like us, they too have their own personality traits and unique soul journey. At the highest level, we ask ourselves, who are we relating to anyway? In deep reflection, we’re all one.
