Kalaleia’s namesake is rooted in the Hawaiian mountain range where incoming souls enter the realm of earth. As such it carries a very nurturing, initiating, and energizing meaning, like birth or the start of a new adventure.
Kala (girl) is super smart, playful, loving and sensitive. She is very sociable and full of leadership, curiosity, + love.
Kumi’s light-hearted, gentle but strong, loving and self-directed nature is expresses itself wonderfully with his littermates (he’s playing chase with them all in the video clip, at right) as well as with his family. He’ll love your devoted affection and attention, and be great with other dogs if you have them.

Kumi (boy) is a gentle, sweet natured, creative, exuberant big-hearted love. He is very curious, sociable, and great with new connections and experiences.
Lakshmi’s bouyant, inquisitive, and self-directed nature shines in her playful engagement with littermates (she’s in the middle during the game of tug in the video clip, at right) as well as with older pups in the pack. She’ll love all the attention, and be great finding her place with your pack.

Lakshmi (girl) is truly heart-centered, engaging, and a strong playful leader. She is very sociable and full of expression, curiosity, + love.
Chani’s grounded, loving, and self-directed nature is playfully expressed with his family (he’s walking on leash for the first time in the video clip, at right) as well as with his litter mates. He’ll love your devoted affection and attention, and be great with another furry friend if you have one.

Chani (boy) is a grounded and focused, big-hearted, playful embodied little angel. He has healthy boundaries, is very sociable, energetic, just full of connection, curiosity + love.
Hi-Lee’s uplifting, adventurous, loving, and self-directed nature expresses itself wonderfully with his litter mates (he’s playing chase with them all in the video clip, at right) as well as with his family. He’ll love your devoted affection and attention, and be great with other dogs if you have them. He’ll need as much quiet time to decompress and integrate as he does social time.

Hi-Lee (boy) is an adventurous spirit, curious, sensitive, creative, freedom-loving and sweet. He has bi-colored eyes, is very sociable, and above all is great with new connections and experiences.
Our available puppies are listed as $3000 USD. For comparison, for a pure working breed in good health with excellent lineage such as our dogs, a typical listing might range between $3500-6000. While we respect the market value for a breeder’s time and effort, we believe it is more important to support a holistic investment in your husky lifestyle.
For us, that means taking into consideration more than just the initial adoption fee. We also want you to be able to stock up on the healthiest food, most sustainable supplies, ergonomic gear, good veterinary care (holistic when possible), mindful training, and anything else you need for The Husky Life, in a budget and timeframe that works for you.
Yes, our value reflects what it takes to lovingly and resourcefully raise a conscious companion in the current market, including the time and effort to create and share essential human-canine wisdom and growth… and at the same time we hope it gives you a great head start to be able to nourish and provide your husky with the best now too!

Huskies are like superheroes — they have a lot of power and good intention, but like any talent, they need good training! So it’s a bit of both really— being a good match and having good skillful communication and ways of relating. Some comes naturally, but you always need training.
That’s where YOUR unique companionship comes in— YOU can help them by structuring their learning curve, listening to their needs and preferences, and encouraging their abilities through love. With our video hints, you’ll have more than just a clue what to do and how to tailor it to your style!
The importance of understanding and practicing with their child-like (relatable) need for balancing play and boundaries, cannot be understated. It helps us truly receive their gifts, while preventing overwhelm, disconnection, or acting-out. Over the course of a few months, you will begin to establish multilayered momentum that will set the stage for a very happy healthy life— for you both.
A good analogy for the music lovers out there, would be that just like we see with singer/ songwriter Ed Sheeran’s performance style, you can think of your early behavioral training like a ‘loop machine’ — where you play one musical element and record it, which is to set it in motion on a loop, and then to add each additional one mindfully and successively, until you have a full background track on top of which your current performance can be sung freestyle. Or in this analogy, you’ll be training the most essential behavioral and relationship ‘background’ habits and watching them be learned and adapted until they’re on autopilot, setting you free for pawsitive new adventures and harmonious experiences on top of the basics!
Imagine having a healthy happy companion animal that is like your best friend. In keeping with the music analogy, friends are like natural ‘tuning forks’— you help each other be your most authentic selves every day. Puppy Placement Process
Reservation List
Unless otherwise noted, we require an initial 50% deposit to secure a spot on our reservation list for a puppy from the current litter. You will be added to the list after we have received your email introduction and had a chance to chat initially. Approval for puppy placement (pending availability) rests solely with Mahavidya Siberians. Your choice of puppy is dependent on your place on the wait list, which will be disclosed in your initial conversation if available.
Transferable: At any time before gaining possession of a puppy, a potential buyer may transfer their 'choice reservation of a puppy’ to another available puppy within the same litter. If a puppy you desire is not available at your designated time of choosing, you will be eligible for a refund minus a 15% non-refundable deposit.
Choosing your puppy: We allow our wait list families to reserve puppies once the puppies are 6-8 weeks old. Timing will be determined by Mahavidya Siberians. Reservations for your choice of which puppy you reserve are offered in list order. One puppy is allowed for adoption per family initially. Upon observation of the success of the adoption transition, a second puppy may be considered to join the family. This is especially nice because huskies are a strongly pack oriented breed. Adoption in pairs, while highly regarded, does have specific requirements.
Terms + Policy
Registration
Our puppies come with limited AKC registration or CKC registration. This means they are companions and not show dogs.
Limited AKC registration rights allow a dog to participate in select AKC show events (i.e. agility, obedience trials) through registration with the AKC but does not provide breeding rights to the owner.
CKC registration rights allows the owner to register their dog with the CKC.
Visits: Unless otherwise noted, we do not allow visits to our property for the safety and well-being of our dogs. Photos and videos of available puppies are posted to our website and social media. Additional footage of the puppies will be made available once you’ve been approved for adoption and your deposit has been received. We may also share pictures of your pup directly by text, email, or your social media. Additionally, a zoom or facetime meet and greet can be scheduled for those who have reserved a puppy, once their puppy has reached 6-8 weeks of age and has received its first round of vaccines. An in person meet and greet can occur at a neutral location, such as as local park where the puppy can build confidence and feel free to explore the new relationship with you without feeling threatened. No other dogs are allowed to greet the puppy yet at this age.
Puppy Pick-up
Puppies are typically acquired when the puppy is between 10-14 weeks of age. This window ensures a smooth transition for the puppy and an ideal start to the bonding process. Puppies can be picked up in person, by the pet owner, or speak with us to discuss a direct delivery with our Pet Chaperone team member.
Never surrender: To safeguard the adoption process, all buyers will sign an agreement which states that, should the buyer ever become unable to maintain possession of a dog purchased from Mahavidya Siberians, said dog is to be returned to Mahavidya Siberians without refund to the buyer. Our puppies are NEVER to be surrendered to a shelter, sold, and cannot be re-homed without our direct involvement and discretion, per our adoption agreement. We love and stand behind all our dogs.
Transportation Options
Congratulations! You’ve found the puppy of your dreams. We’re here to help you start your new life together! Whether you are geographically close to us in Colorado, or whether your search has found us regionally, nationally, or across the pond, we have the perfect way to get your puppy to you kindly and safely.
Our first choice is an in person pick-up. Many drive to us to pick up their puppy or you can schedule to meet us half-way. You may fly in to pick up your puppy and stay in a local Air BnB. Luckily, there is also a good option available now to deliver puppies across the country or in most places around the world using a common method such as air travel in the arms of our very own Pet Chaperone team member. We know travel and airports can be chaotic, so we prefer to bring your new fur baby right to your door for a calmer initial introduction straight into your arms and your daily life. Once you’ve reserved your husky puppy, talk with us about your preference and we will gladly help you estimate the requirements and cost.
With frequent, open communication with us, you can choose the right mode of transportation to keep your puppy safe and comfortable on the journey home to you.
