Meet Our Forever Families
& Hear Their Adoption Stories
We are grateful beyond measure to be able to share the "husky love” with other families. Owning a husky takes a special kind of person. And we know you most likely feel this specialness too since you found your way here. We hope you’ll enjoy others’ stories and be inspired by their husky journey…
Krista + Evan
Krista and Evan, and their daughter came to visit the pups and fell in love with Altair. Evan had owned a husky prior and knew the bond he was able to make with this breed. He was seeking another husky to create a new bond for him and his family. Since they already know how to handle the exuberance, and that natural instinct to run, they are making sure the backyard fence is high and secure, lol.
They waited until their daughter was old enough so that they would be able to grow up together. When the time was ripe, they were led right to us! “If you asked me how I found you, I wouldn’t know, but I’m so grateful we did— it’s been perfect!”
Krista and I were chatting about organic food and keeping occasional loose stools firmed up with a focus on supporting a healthy gut biome. Here’s one recipe I shared with her…
We Tried Out This Recipe for a Healthy Husky Gut Together…
Krista has fostered dogs before and has helped those with unique health conditions to regain their health and balance. She is well versed in making sure the dog in her care receives the best possible life. (We need a superhero name for you Krista!) Now she is equally grateful to have one with a great health certificate right off the bat!
"Ali” is receiving organic healthy food, often home cooked ‘human-grade’, and they are planning to bring him along on family adventures as an important member of their ‘pack’.
Adopting Altair “Ali”
Adopting “Pemberly”
“We named her Permberly from the same Jane Austen novel as our last two huskies, Darcy and Georgiana! When we got her spayed, for some reason she has MORE energy than she did before, haha.”

Those first week after she went home with her new family…
“Just sending you an update on our puppy. She is is quite friendly and calm with other dogs in the area and is able to be together with one of the other two of the family dogs without any problem. It took time but has gotten better just in the last week or two. The oldest dog just will not accept her which makes for a few logistics problems as they share our large back yard. But overall it is going pretty well and at least she has started to be able to be in the yard at the same time as one of the two family dogs . She is still shy only with strangers but is around a lot of people routinely and doing well with that. Her behavioral training is going okay. She is stubborn but no more than any other husky I have trained. 😂 We love her tons and tons. Right now she is racing around the back yard chasing a butterfly. 🥰 Thank you for being her breeder.”
“Pemberly has the typical husky personality that says “I’d like to be in charge if you will let me” AND she has the sweetest nature, loving and playful and she gets along with everyone — Our little boys, our adults, old and young. She is playing so well with other dogs, too. We take her to day care often for some extra socialization and she always makes a friend. She is energetic but knows how to settle down. Her health reports are all great. Thank you for everything.” ~ Caroline
